Hon. James E. McGreevey, 56, resigned as Governor of New Jersey in 2004 after announcing that he was gay and that he had an extramarital affair with a man on his staff. Since, he has attended divinity school and devoted himself to counseling female inmates at the Hudson County Correctional Facility and former convicts at Integrity House in Newark. He has remarried, and he and his husband share child rearing for his youngest daughter with his former wife. He discusses how his idea of happiness has changed and the challenges to his spiritual development.
